Essen is a small village in Belgium, 35km
north of Antwerp and next to the Dutch border. On these pages we give

Coming from Brussels, Bruges,
Ghent, or other major Belgian Cities you drive to Antwerpen)
where you get on the ringway (R1) direction Nederland/ Breda.

Once on the E19 you take exit 4:
St.-Job-in't Goor
If for some odd
reason you would take the E19 from Breda, also take exit 4 and
follow further directions
At the roundabout(s) follow the
direction Essen - Kalmthout -Roosendaal
Follow N117
further in the direction of Essen, Kalmthout, Roosendaal
At the (second) traffic lights in
Brasschaat strait ahead (near a Texaco- gasstation)
After 6 km you arrive in Achterbroek, where
you continue to drive strait ahead at the traffic lights.
Follow N117 until the next traffic
lights where you turn left, into the centre of Essen.
Just after the the police office. (Politie)
you'll see a large hall called "Heuvelhal" on your right side.
This will be the place to be!
